Senior Refrigeration Technician - Ammonia Focus

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Ammonia Service Technician
  

• Proficient in:
  

  • Replacing mechanical seals on pumps and compressors
    

  • Performing motor alignments
    

  • Diagnosing and working with electrical systems and controls
    

  • Troubleshooting and servicing multiple brands of equipment and control systems
    

  • Understanding industrial-level ammonia refrigeration systems (not residential or commercial-only experience)
    

• Capable of:
  

  • Working independently in client facilities
    

  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when operators cannot
    

  • Performing start-ups of ammonia refrigeration systems
    

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Experienced in both commercial and industrial refrigeration
  

• Self-motivated, hands-on, and a self-starter
  

• Well-organized and detail-oriented
  

• Comfortable with travel and participating in an on-call rotation
  

• Must have a clean driving record
