We are currently seeking a National Eating Disorder Psychiatrist (MD/DO). This individual will oversee our eating disorder locations throughout the United States and provide psychiatric services remotely.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatrist (Florida Preferred)
- Experience with Eating Disorder Treatment

- Daytime Monday-Friday (25 hours per week or more)

Responsibilities:
- Provides psychiatric oversight of eating disorder programs within the Refresh Mental Health network to ensure that the highest quality of evidence based psychiatric treatment and excellent patient care is being provided at all times.
- Works with the leadership team at Refresh Mental Health to assist with eating disorder program development, protocols, policies, and updating of patient care standards.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of evidence based psychiatric treatments in the eating disorder patient population, and ensure it is being implemented at eating disorder facilities.
- Remains clinically active in providing comprehensive psychiatric care for adult eating disorder patients.
- Completes psychiatric intakes and meets with patients weekly (at residential and PHP levels of care) or an as-needed basis for patients at an IOP level of care.
- Attends weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and monthly all staff meetings.
- Documents all patients contact accurately on the medical record in a timely manner
- Meets with clinical providers for the purpose of providing a comprehensive treatment plan on as needed basis either in group or individual sessions.
- Coordinates psychiatric care with outside providers as needed.
- Review cases with medical director as needed.
- Available during specified times throughout the week to perform emergency assessments as needed or coordinate referral to HLOC.
- Act as a liaison between eating disorder programs and leadership.
