Responsibilities
- Perform customized massage treatments including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes.
- Ensure a clean, comfortable, and professional environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent patient service by listening actively, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Proven experience in medical spa settings or similar environments preferred.
- Strong background in patient service, patient assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and pain management strategies.
- Prior experience working with diverse client populations to deliver personalized care.
