Shift: Dayshift (8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Monday -to Friday with Occasional Saturdays)

Pay rate: $21.50/hour

Essential Job Functions:

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hair nets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
• Effectively conduct and complete CIP processes.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF) standards.
• Unload raw materials, concentrate and sucrose from incoming trucks. Verify load quantities with BOL and communicate inaccuracies with management team – accurately input receipt data into SAP as required.
• Use SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) installed on forklifts.
• Properly complete a BOL for recyclable shipments.
• Complete receipt records with extreme accuracy.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT’s) in a high-paced environment and be in-house forklift certified.
• Move trailers within the trailer yard as needed to offload bulk ingredients
• Take samples of incoming raw materials and accurately conduct tests for BRIX and Ph. levels
• Understand and accurately weigh incoming materials at the company’s weighing station.
• Conduct comprehensive trailer inspections to ensure safe operation and transport of materials.
• Communicate with supervisor when inventory levels are off, damage has been sustained to vehicles and/or transport totes.
• Load dunnage trailer efficiently and effectively – maximizing trailer loads.
• Ship lab samples and other packages as required to both national and international locations.
• Assist with improvement activities designed to eliminate waste and improve both efficiency and productivity.
• Keep all work areas clean, clutter-free and safe.
• Embrace, embody and live Refresco’s values and be a positive influence on facility personnel.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager(s).

Required Skills:

• Ability to read, speak and understand English is required.
• Ability to become Forklift Certified is required.
• Ability to move trailers.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Demonstrate the basic and safe operation of powered industrial trucks.
• SAP experience: knowledge of SAP Functions to organize receiving activities is essential to success.
• The ability to use Wonderware is a huge plus.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3 years of work experience as a forklift operator, Receiving Clerk or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
