Our Vision for Youth Ministry
At Redeemer, we want students to become young men and women who know the gospel, love Jesus, love His church, know what they believe and why they believe it, and are prepared to live faithfully and missionally wherever God sends them.
We are looking for a Youth Leader who will help us cultivate a ministry marked by gospel-centeredness, biblical truth, authentic relationships, thoughtful questions, discipleship, and joy.
This is not simply a position for someone who can “run youth group.” We are looking for someone who genuinely loves teenagers, enjoys being with them, listens well to them, takes their questions seriously, and delights in seeing them grow.

- Lead Sunday Evening Youth Gatherings
- Build Relationships with Students
- Disciple and Mentor Students
- Partner with Parents and the Church
Position Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have a clear and credible testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrate a genuine love for the gospel and a commitment to gospel-centered ministry.
- Have a growing knowledge and love of Scripture and affirm its authority.
- Have a genuine love for teenagers and a desire to see them mature in Christ.
- Demonstrate a heart for discipleship and mentoring.
- Be able to meet students where they are without compromising biblical truth.
- Be comfortable engaging students who have questions, doubts, or uncertainty about Christianity.
- Demonstrate emotional maturity, wisdom, humility, and teachability.
- Be dependable, organized, and able to follow through on responsibilities.
- Work well with parents, volunteers, pastors, and church leadership.
- Genuinely delight in being with teenagers and help students know that they are delighted in.
