What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office and Communications Coordinator (on-site) position at Reformed Church in America?
The Office and Communications Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact in the daily activity of our church – helping to ensure our ministries are well-supported, our communication is clear and engaging, and all who connect with Westview experience warmth and organization. This is a 32-hour/week, part-time position expected to work on-site in the Westview church offices during routinely scheduled office hours — Monday through Thursday.

- Act as the primary contact for visitors, calls, emails, and information
- Handle all office administration, including office supplies & expense reimbursement
- Actively manage Google Calendar over scheduled use of church building facilities, including reservations from external parties
- Manage church membership database (Servant Keeper) and business records retention
- Create and distribute weekly communications (print and digital)
- Maintain Westview’s website and social media platforms
- Support worship services (bulletins, slides, scheduling pulpit supply)
- Partner with staff and ministry leaders to promote events and initiatives
- Assist with event coordination and volunteer communication
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
- Proficiency in common workplace & website technology (Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, social media, etc.)
- Willingness to learn and effectively use church management software (Servant Keeper) to improve office efficiency
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
- Demonstrated character of integrity, humility and servant leadership
- Deep respect for maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality kept in church office dealings
- Commitment to Christ and to the authority of Scripture
