ZeroV is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist for its Finance team. This position is classified as a Sr.
Program Specialist position.
ZeroV is the state coalition whose mission is to abolish the social conditions and systems that spark,
enable, and amplify intimate partner violence and to create communities where all Kentuckians can live
and thrive in safety and peace.
Responsibilities
To assist finance department with compiling and maintaining all financial
documentation related to our housing program and in accordance with the Funder’s
guidelines.
Prepare documentation for audits and monitoring by Funder.
Maintain vendor and customer files in compliance with organization document retention
policy.
Assist in annual agency audit preparation.
This position works closely with both the Housing and Finance Teams.
Qualifications
High level of experience with Word and Excel.
Proficient working on a Mac and utilizing videoconferencing (Zoom and Teams).
Experience working in QuickBooks and/or other similar accounting software.
Basic understanding of grant budgets and rules around allowable expenses.
Have a deep commitment to ending gender-based violence, as well as other forms of
intersecting oppressions including racism, classism, and ableism.
Be self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and able to work well in a team driven
environment.
Salary
Salary for this position is $60,000 plus a generous benefit package.
Sr. Program Specialist will be required to attend. Training provided and meetings attended will be a mix of
virtual and in-person across KY.
