What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Change Management Consultant position at Reflections Production?
Reflections is seeking a Part-Time Change Management Consultant to support a portfolio of change management, instructional design, and training initiatives. This is a remote, contract-based role ideal for a self-sufficient, detail-oriented consultant who can quickly integrate into existing frameworks and contribute meaningfully to a range of change management deliverables.
The consultant will work with the Reflections team to review and enhance Change Management Plans (CMP), Change Strategies (CMS), stakeholder engagement strategies, instructional materials, communication plans, and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support and refine Change Management Plans, Change Strategies, and stakeholder materials.
· Develop and update instructional content, communication materials, and training resources for change initiatives
· Create and apply stakeholder impact assessments, readiness tools, RACI matrices, audience registers, and communication strategies
· Collaborate with Reflections on project planning, scope refinement, and deliverable development
· Provide documentation support and practical input during change planning, discovery phases, and sustainment periods
· Maintain availability during core West Coast business hours for periodic check-ins and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, or Learning & Development
· Proven ability to create structured change management deliverables (CMP, CMS, training plans, communication strategies, etc.)
· Instructional design experience, including the ability to structure eLearning, training materials, and knowledge transfer tools
· Strong writing, editing, and document design skills
· Familiarity with common Change Management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, etc.)
· Certification in Change Management strongly preferred (e.g., Prosci) OR equivalent experience
· Self-starter with strong time management and project coordination skills
· Comfortable working remotely and independently with limited supervision
· Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
· Located on the U.S. West Coast or able to work PST hours
· Experience supporting public sector, utilities, or infrastructure-related change initiatives
· Familiarity with California government processes or regulatory requirements
Rate and Details:
Hourly Rate: $30/hour (W-9 Contractor)
Hours: Approx. 10–15 hours/week (flexible; potential for increase)
Term: Short-term through Sept/Oct 2025, with possible extension
