Apartment Leasing Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, outgoing, and sales-driven Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our team at a fast-paced, 320-unit apartment community. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of apartment leasing experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a strong understanding of sales, marketing, and social media platforms.
The Leasing Consultant reports directly to the Property Manager and plays an important role in maximizing occupancy, generating prospective resident traffic, promoting the community online, and creating a positive living experience for current residents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all administrative duties related to on-site leasing, sales, and marketing.
- Conduct apartment tours, showcase available apartments, and convert prospective renters into residents.
- Generate leasing traffic, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and follow up with prospective residents.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.
- Manage and promote the property’s presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and other digital marketing platforms.
- Create and post engaging social media content to advertise available apartments, promote community features, and attract prospective residents.
- Assist with online advertising, lead generation, and other marketing initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and promote resident activities and community events to encourage resident engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Assist with event preparation, vendor coordination, decorations, and event communications as needed.
- Participate in monitoring and presenting market-ready apartments and maintaining attractive property presentation.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and assist with reporting leasing activity and marketing results.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of apartment leasing experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sales, marketing, and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms for business marketing and promotions.
- Experience creating social media posts and promoting products, services, or events online.
- Ability to plan and coordinate resident activities and community events.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to actively listen, build relationships, and respond professionally to customer needs.
- Ability to analyze and report leasing and financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic, and team-oriented personality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Property Manager and other team members.
- Previous sales and marketing experience preferred.
