What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blue Sky Grill Cook position at REFINERY SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT INC?
The grill cook is responsible for preparing grilled and cooked-to-order menu items according to Blue Sky recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook burgers, meats, and other grilled products according to Blue Sky specifications, all while maintaining proper food-safety and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain proper grill temperatures and cooking procedures.
- Follow proper cooking times and temperatures for every product.
- Communicate clearly with expo, other kitchen stations, and management.
- Read and understand order tickets and KDS screens accurately.
- Manage multiple orders while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized grill station.
- Properly rotate and store products according to FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Monitor product levels and communicate with management when additional product is needed.
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control requirements.
- Assist other kitchen stations when necessary.
Expectations
The grill cook will show up to work on time, in uniform, and ready to work. The grill cook should be dependable, focused, and able to work efficiently under pressure. Every item leaving the grill should meet Blue Sky’s standards for temperature, appearance, portion, and quality.
