About the Role
We're hiring a full-time Retail Associate to handle the register, help customers, and manage incoming invoices. No wine or spirits knowledge is required. We'll train you on everything you need to know. If you're reliable, organized, and good with people, we want to hear from you.
Invoices & Receiving
- Enter vendor and distributor invoices into our system accurately and on time
- Check incoming deliveries against invoices and flag any shortages, damages, or pricing errors
- Update product costs and prices in the system when invoices change
- Keep invoices organized and filed for easy reference and bookkeeping
Point of Sale (POS) System
- Learn and become proficient in our POS system (full training provided)
- Add new products and update item information, pricing, and inventory counts
- Process sales, returns, exchanges, and voids correctly
- Run end-of-day reports and balance the cash drawer
Cashier & Customer Service
- Ring up customers quickly and accurately with cash and card payments
- Greet customers, answer questions, and help them find products
- Verify customer ID for all alcohol sales in line with state law
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed
Store Operations
- Keep the store clean, shelves stocked, and displays organized
- Help with opening and closing duties as scheduled
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
