We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with a Maintenance Manager, Mechanical Cleaning to be located at the Refined Technologies Mechanical Cleaning Facility.


This role owns operational performance of the Mechanical Cleaning Facility (MCF), ensuring equipment readiness, safe execution, and efficient production across vessel cleaning, skid pump maintenance, and effluent systems. This role plays a critical role in supporting predictable turnaround execution, operational efficiency, and overall delivery performance. 

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Own performance, safety, and execution of vessel cleaning and maintenance operations

• Own performance and execution of skid pump maintenance operations

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily production schedules to meet operational targets

• Ensure mechanical equipment readiness to support efficient turnaround execution

• Drive a culture of safety and ensure full compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements

• Oversee effluent systems and processes to ensure proper storage and disposal in compliance with permits

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting related to production, waste, and lifting and rigging equipment

• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and technicians to drive performance and accountability

• Build a culture aligned with RTI Core Behaviors: Servant’s Heart, Enthusiasm, and Empathy

• Develop team capability through training, coaching, and performance management

• Own and report on KPIs including production output, equipment uptime, safety performance, and cost efficiency

• Partner with maintenance and engineering to maximize uptime and reduce downtime

• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and operational efficiency

• Drive facility improvements, upgrades, and operational enhancements

• Own daily operational decision-making for MCF production and resource allocation

• Support capital improvements, equipment upgrades, and process enhancements


Minimum Qualifications 

• Valid Driver’s License and must possess, or be eligible for, a U.S. Passport 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Minimum of five years’ supervisory experience 

• Experience leading teams in industrial, mechanical, or turnaround environments 

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with a strong focus on safety and execution


Additional or Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience managing operational performance, production schedules, or facility operations 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals 

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and asset management systems 

• Proficiency with maintenance management systems or standard office software 

• Demonstrated experience leading facility upgrades, expansions, or capital improvement projects 

• Advanced knowledge of lifting and rigging equipment, including inspection and maintenance procedures 

• Experience operating and maintaining forklift assets; certification preferred 

• Ability to develop technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field


Working Conditions / Physical Demands 

• Work is performed in a combination of office, shop, and outdoor industrial environments 

• Regular exposure to mechanical equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditions 

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods 

• Ability to lift and handle materials and equipment as required 

• Ability to work around industrial cleaning processes, including wet and chemical environments 

• Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, with flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional extended hours or weekends

• Must be able to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and other protective equipment as required


Travel Requirements 

• Minimal travel required; occasional travel of up to 5–10 nights per year
