The Role
- Partner with traders, developers and cross-functional technology teams in New York and India to understand user needs and deliver internal trading and position-management tools.
- Lead discovery and project scoping, translating business needs into clear product and technical requirements.
- Prioritise work, track progress and move projects through development, rollout, feedback and iteration.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions so solutions are robust and aligned with business objectives.
- Give distributed development teams the product context they need to deliver effectively.
- Gather user feedback and identify practical improvements to established tools and workflows.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Up to five years’ experience in product management, software development, technical project management or a related field.
- The ability to turn user needs into structured requirements, balance competing priorities and drive work through completion.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort discussing technical concepts, design decisions and architecture, with sound judgement and close attention to detail.
