We’re seeking to connect a Sr. DevOps Engineer with a leading company in the insurance industry on a full time basis. The role is remote and located in Livonia, MI. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join a passionate, motivated team and leverage your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and implement cloud-native solutions.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes.
- Break down architectural concepts into actionable requirements for engineering and product teams.
- Lead infrastructure as code initiatives and support multi-environment cloud deployments.
- Drive observability, performance optimization, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, including 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficient in CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Hands-on experience with middleware and application server technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
