We’re seeking to connect a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with a leading defense and aerospace organization on a full-time basis. The role is onsite and located in Santa Barbara, CA. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will join a highly skilled engineering team developing mission-critical embedded software for advanced electro-mechanical and weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate real-time embedded software solutions
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and integration teams to deliver high-performance systems
Debug and enhance existing embedded applications
Support system integration and field deployment activities
Produce technical documentation aligned with program requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
Strong proficiency in C and real-time operating systems
Experience with embedded communication protocols
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
Expected Pay and Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $111,000–$177,000
