We’re seeking to connect a Cloud Operations Manager with a leading company in the insurance industry on a full time basis. The role is hybrid and located in Livonia, Michigan. As a Cloud Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to join a passionate, motivated team and leverage your expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, operations leadership, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and business teams to ensure cloud platform stability and performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals in a 24/7 environment.
- Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage cost efficiency.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud or IT infrastructure operations, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in AWS cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with incident management, monitoring, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cloud and IT service management certifications preferred.
