We’re seeking to connect an Enterprise Architect with a leading company in the technology sector on a full-time basis. The role is hybrid and located in Detroit, MI. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a vital role in driving strategic technology initiatives, establishing architectural standards, and bridging business strategy with IT innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic transformation leader, aligning IT with departmental goals and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive the development of modern business architecture, ensuring traceability between technology strategy and business objectives.
- Establish and evolve an enterprise-wide architecture governance framework to standardize decision-making processes.
- Formulate high-level technology strategies to address current and future business needs while guiding application development and IT operations toward building reliable systems.
- Identify and analyze market and technology trends to uncover opportunities for the company, leading proof of concepts and pilots in essential areas.
- Manage the technology onboarding and retirement lifecycle to ensure sustainable adoption and orderly decommissioning of legacy systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
- Proven technical leadership experience in transforming legacy systems and developing innovative architectural solutions.
- Professional certifications in architectural frameworks or cloud/networking systems (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure) are advantageous.
- Experience enabling large-scale digital transformation and architectural modernization efforts.
- Strong knowledge of governance models and security frameworks relevant to technology and finance industries.
