We’re seeking to connect a Technical Support Specialist with a leading company in the technology sector on a full-time basis. The role is in-person and located in Detroit, MI. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team and leverage your expertise in technical support to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users, both onsite and remotely, while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Document incidents and requests in the corporate ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues while supporting the deployment of Windows OS images (7, 10, and 11).
- Collaborate with end-users and team members to identify needs and implement solutions while maintaining compliance with company security practices.
- Test and certify new workstation and laptop models, ensuring all equipment meets organizational standards.
- Support Microsoft Teams meetings and conferencing technologies, providing additional services to executive associates as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in desktop support, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, LAN technologies).
- Excellent customer service skills with a knack for building positive relationships.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, alongside proficiency in Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive).
- Capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing after-hours support as required.
- Must be willing to travel as necessary to meet business demands.
