Wind Turbine Field Technician

Reevo Energy is seeking for a skilled Wind Turbine Technicians to join our growing renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will play a crucial role in advancing our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on wind turbine systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in wind turbine systems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Install new wind turbine systems, including electrical and mechanical components, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and implement solutions.
• Document maintenance activities, repair procedures, and inspections in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in wind energy technology.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in wind energy technology or related field preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
• Valid Driver's License is required
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Physically able to safely climb wind turbines up to 90m (300 feet), stand, walk, crawl, crouch, stoop and generally meet the physical demands of the position. Work may take place on ladders, platforms, and cramped spaces with constant standing and kneeling.
• Satisfactory criminal background check
• Working in all-weather outdoor conditions (extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, snow)
• Required safe working weight is 265 LBS
• Must maintain essential training certifications such as OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED - First Aid

Preferred:

• Certifications in wind turbine technology or related fields.
• 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with solid understanding of wind turbine systems.
• Experience with specific turbine brands or models.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and data analysis tools.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to wind turbines.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and industry standards.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainable practices.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
