As we look to the future, we are seeking bright, enthusiastic people to join our team. We currently have an opening for a hands-on experienced Customer Service Assistant Manager in our Pequannock, New Jersey office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate with strong organizational management and leadership skills who is also technically savvy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Customer Service Manager with a variety of customer support duties as well as staff training, systems adoption, and general management and performance of the department.
- Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns and issues (including troubleshooting related to customer orders in SPS Commerce, Vendor Central, Shopify, etc.)
- Processing of international orders including, coordination with international customers / distributors, Reeves’ 3PL Operator, freight forwarders, overseas agents and internal operational staff as needed, including completion of all required documentation for export such as proforma and commercial invoices.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
- Extended hours may be required during peak periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years’ experience in a product business within the consumer products industry. Call center environment experience and experience in service-related industries is not applicable to this position.
- Knowledge of proficiency and experience with SPS Commerce, Vendor Central and Shopify
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, training and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Curious with the desire and ability to learn
- Problem solving skills
- Able to maintain and project a positive outlook and attitude
- Working knowledge of export transactions and operations and international customer service a plus
- Position is full time on-site at Reeves’ offices.
