Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and detailing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet high-quality standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, creating durable and visually appealing concrete structures. Duties

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and trowels to achieve a flawless surface.
• Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to provide structural integrity.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise concrete finishing tasks.
• Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and efficiently on-site.
• Prepare forms using carpentry skills including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and concrete forming techniques.
• Apply specialty finishes such as stucco, plastering, caulking, or decorative hardscape elements to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, material handling, and installation processes.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and ensuring proper use of hand tools and power tools throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with team members on restoration projects, renovation work, or new construction to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks.
• Skilled in rebar installation, form building, tile laying, flooring installation, masonry, welding, and other related trades is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is advantageous for planning materials and labor needs.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
• Hands-on experience with plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing or restoration projects is desirable.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment may be preferred depending on project requirements.
