Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, answer questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and wine pairings to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining balanced registers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables efficiently and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, providing personalized service, and creating a memorable dining experience.
• Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including setting up dining areas or cleaning workstations.
• Support other team members during busy periods by stepping into roles such as host/host or busser as needed.

Experience
We welcome applicants with previous restaurant experience or food service background; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus! Candidates should have strong customer service skills, excellent time management abilities, and familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Experience in food handling, sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and basic math skills for cashiering is essential. Knowledge of reservation platforms such as OpenTable will be advantageous. A background in hospitality or the food industry combined with serving or host/host experience will help you excel in this lively environment. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for guest relations, upselling techniques, and teamwork to thrive in our fast-paced setting. Pay: $20.95 - $25.23 per hour
