What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Set-Up position at Reelcraft Industries?
Summary:
To set up jobs on press and other manufacturing equipment and assist with problems on jobs that people may have. Operating an electric truck to move, deliver and store materials as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull and set-up jobs on press and other manufacturing equipment.
- Drive an electric truck to move materials as needed.
- Assist employees who may have problems on jobs.
- Inspection of parts.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent desired. 3-6 months of work experience as set up desired.
Qualification Requirements:
Current Forklift license or ability to obtain a forklift license.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions or manuals. Ability to speak audibly, and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.
