Cannabis Sales Associate

Job Title: Cannabis Sales Associate (Part Time and Full Time)

Reports to: General Manager and Assistant General Manager

Location: Greenfield Center, NY

Job Overview: Under the supervision of management, the Cannabis Sales Associate provides guidance and education to each customer regarding their individual marijuana needs. Cannabis Sales Associates are expected to provide excellent customer care and support the core values and culture of the Company. The Cannabis Sales Associate works closely and collaboratively with the dispensing facility leadership to deliver results in a fast- paced environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.

Pay: $18.00-20.00/hour plus tips

Schedule: Part-Time / Weekends

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· At least two years of direct customer service experience preferred

· Experience with Point-of-Sale Systems

· Basic computer literacy and familiarity with data entry, email, and Microsoft programs

Job Requirements:

· Provide excellent customer service by engaging in thoughtful, connected conversations with customers and assisting in selecting cannabis products based on their needs, tolerance, and preferences

· Provide information on strains, potency, and methods of consumption

· Efficiently operate dispensary point-of-sale system to track sales and handle all transactions with accuracy and integrity

· Ensure all customers are at least 21 years of age through proper identification

· Comply with store policies and procedures and understand all applicable state regulations for position

· Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and safe consumption

· Maintain clean and organized dispensary environment

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, use hands to perform manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Must be able to speak and communicate verbally. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and reach. Reasonable accommodations may be made in appropriate circumstances to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of the position
