position requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality work with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drainage systems, and related components.
- Perform thorough inspections and testing of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine installation requirements and ensure compliance with project plans.
- Collaborate effectively with general contractors, project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of and adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in both residential and commercial settings, utilizing strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients, answering questions, and explaining work procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Indepth knowledge of plumbing systems, including principles, materials, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent reading and interpretation skills of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues.
- Experience working in both residential and commercial environments.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Physical Demands: o Frequent sitting, standing, and reaching.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for typing and using computer peripherals.
