What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach position at Reeds Spring School District?
Qualifications
The Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach should have a working knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, rules, and basic strategies, along with experience playing and/or coaching volleyball. The coach must be able to work effectively with middle school aged students and communicate clearly with athletes, families, and staff while collaborating closely with the head coach. This role requires modeling positive sportsmanship, leadership, and professionalism, as well as a commitment to supporting student growth both athletically and behaviorally. The assistant coach must be available to attend scheduled practices, games, and team events, provide appropriate supervision, and help maintain a safe and structured environment. Candidates must also be willing to complete all required district and state coaching requirements, including background checks, trainings, and certifications.
