JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Sales Representative to join our growing equipment sales team in the Kansas and Missouri territory. This role is responsible for selling a diverse range of equipment, including heavy-duty lifts, light-duty lifts, wheel service equipment, lubrication systems, compressed air equipment, and other ancillary automotive shop equipment.
In this position, you will work closely with a wide variety of customers, including city municipalities, county and state organizations, school districts, transit facilities, private diesel shops, and automotive repair facilities. You will leverage your industry knowledge and sales expertise to build strong customer relationships, identify equipment needs, and deliver tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency.
This role is hands-on and field-based. You will be expected to transport equipment, pull a trailer, conduct on-site product demonstrations, and deliver equipment to customer locations as needed. Staying informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product innovations will be key to positioning our company as a trusted leader in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across multiple industries
- Provide technical expertise on heavy-duty equipment specifications, features, and advantages
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet company revenue and growth objectives
- Assist with managing projects and signed opportunities within the territory
- Conduct on-site equipment demonstrations and coordinate equipment deliveries
- Travel regularly to meet clients, attend trade shows, and conduct site visits
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree preferred
- Prior sales experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to pull a trailer and safely load and unload heavy-duty equipment
