We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPC/LPCC who specializes in trauma therapy, preferably EMDR, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an independent license and will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves working with clients both in-person and virtually, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being and personal growth. This can be a hybrid position, with one in-person evening required.

Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments to determine clients' diagnoses and needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Treat both adults and adolescents.
- Knowledge of the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in licensure and work supervision.
- Stay informed about the latest research in mental health practices to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of professional counseling practice with emphasis on human development principles through cognitive, affective, behavioral, or systemic interventions, and strategies that address high-risk behaviors, wellness, and personal growth, across the life span.
- Knowledge of treatment modalities for children and adolescents.
- Knowledge and understanding of the APA ethical code.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to client-centered care.
