Position SummaryWe are seeking a Treasury Operations Intern to support our Treasury team in managing cash, liquidity, and banking operations. This internship offers students an immersive experience in the treasury operations of a mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), providing hands-on exposure to daily treasury activities that support financial stability and growth.Responsibilities & DutiesAssist with daily cash position monitoring and reconciliations.Support bank account administration and payment processing.Contribute to short-term cash forecasting and reporting.Participate in process improvement and treasury system initiatives.Provide support for audits, compliance, and documentation of procedures.Required Experience, Skills, & CompetenciesEducation and Background:Current undergraduates (rising junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.Technical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; interest in treasury systems and financial tools is a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills.Core CompetenciesIntellectual curiosity and a passion for financial markets.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals.Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Other RequirementsAvailable for full-time participation during the summer program (June–August 2026).In-office presence required 4 to 5 days a week depending on location and project needs.A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is $27/hr.
