POSITION SUMMARY
The Redwood FP&A Team is a fast-paced, dynamic team that manages budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and analysis – all of which influence our business’ strategic direction. The group provides team members with numerous opportunities to collaborate across the organization, develop insights and work on the front lines of one of the fastest growing Home Services Investors in the country.
The Financial Analyst position will be responsible for key functions that support data gathering, analysis, and automation of critical financial and operational information. This position will support preparation of internal financial reporting deliverables and reporting of Key Performance Indicators for leadership across functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support monthly close process, updating management reporting referencing both the P&L and operational KPI’s
- Assist with development and maintenance of financial models, the annual operating plan, and forecasting for operations on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
- Perform data mining from multiple and disparate sources, integrating and analyzing data sets
- Integrate new Partners into the reporting ecosystem
- Support the FP&A Team in presenting materials to the board, analyzing data, and utilizing financial insights to advise our partners on near term and long term objectives making recommendations to key stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting. CPA preferred.
- A passion for accuracy and a desire to understand the “why”
- An interest in applying the evolving capabilities of Artificial Intelligence
- Excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexible, “special-projects” orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
- Ability to meet tight/competing deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel proficiency using pivot tables, Index Match, H- &V-lookups, etc., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting, business or finance
