These roles are at the center of our activities focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into battery materials for new lithium-ion battery production.

Redwood Materials is seeking a VDC intern to support our team during the Summer 2026 timeframe. Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and maintain models from the Design Team, Trade Contractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy, spatial coordination, and timely resolution of issues in line with project deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineers, trades, and design professionals to develop an integrated model delivery approach; lead clash detection sessions to optimize construction processes and enhance quality.
- Champion the use of advanced BIM technology, providing support and oversight for its effective implementation.
- Identify and resolve conflicts in Architectural, Structural, and MEP elements, presenting practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (3rd/4th year) or Master's (1st year) in Construction Management, Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering.
- Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and reality capture tools.
- Knowledge of scripting or visual programming for automation.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to safely perform job duties in both office and production environments.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in alignment with company and regulatory standards.
- Wear proper PPE when necessary.
- Split work environment between office and the production facility.
- Work may involve extended periods of working in the production facility.
- Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time.
