Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install various flooring materials with precision and attention to detail
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement and alignment
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to prepare surfaces, lay flooring, caulk seams, trim carpentry, and perform fixture installation
• Conduct water damage restoration tasks and perform floor care to maintain the longevity of installed surfaces
• Assist with remodeling projects by applying construction estimating skills for material needs and project timelines
• Perform surface preparation such as concrete finishing, construction painting, buffing floors, and water damage restoration to ensure optimal installation conditions
• Collaborate with team members on site to execute projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and schematics

Experience

• Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work with a strong understanding of construction site procedures
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
• Hands-on experience using hand tools (e.g., caulking guns, saws) and power tools safely in various construction tasks
• Background in carpentry, cabinet installation, or handyman work is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installations
• Previous experience working on construction sites with exposure to diverse tasks such as concrete finishing or remodeling projects

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
