Join our team today as a Patient Sitter! You will be responsible for supervising a single patient engaging them with meaningful activities.
Days: Rotating
Hours: AM Shift (7am to 3pm)
PM Shift (3pm to 11pm)
Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to carry out Resident services and non-professional services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator/designee, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Delegation of Authority
As a Sitter you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Job Functions

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion. Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public, Must be knowledgeable of our Sitter program, practices, procedures and guidelines. Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc. Must be willing to follow instructions exactly, understanding that errors could be dangerous to the resident. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
