Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare leadership team. Duties

  • Lead and coordinate nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the departmental budget, including resource allocation, staffing costs, and supply expenses, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Supervise nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams through effective management practices, staff supervision, and personnel management in education.
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations by maintaining accurate documentation and conducting regular audits.
  • Facilitate staff training, professional development, and educational programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish policies, procedures, and standards that promote organizational excellence in healthcare delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in management within a healthcare or hospital setting, preferably with a background in nursing leadership or administration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, organizational budget management, and instructional leadership in education related to healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to nursing or healthcare training programs.
  • Experience in school administrative director roles or academic leadership is highly desirable for understanding complex organizational structures.
  • Skilled in team management, staff supervision, personnel management in education or healthcare environments, and team leadership.
  • Background in teaching or university experience related to health sciences or nursing is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities combined with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
