Location: King & Snohomish Counties, with occasional office days in Lynnwood office.
Salary Range: $26.00 - $28.00 an hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

SUMMARY:
Behavior Coordinator supports the Behavior Program Manager with plans, goals, and behavior support protocols. Will step in for any person-centered planning that is needed annually for all clients. Behavior Coordinator will be trained and aware of all policies and procedures and support in knowledge and updates from any WACs or DDA policy changes. The goal for this position is to ensure that all clients get the behavior supports that are needed. This Behavior Coordinator would support all clients in Snohomish and King County, currently 51 clients. This position is in a field with occasional office days.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop Initial PBSP and IISP. Create & implement behavior support protocols specific to the behavioral needs of each client.
- Responsible for performing and delivering curriculum and learning material and overseeing all operations of Washington SAILS training program as reflected by the following duties and responsibilities.
- Observe clients on an individualized basis.
- Develop Initial PBSP and IISP.
- Collects, organizes, analyzes, and disseminates behavioral data.
- Train direct staff to the IISP & PBSP and periodically (Weekly) review behavior data and habilitative goal tracking sheets to ensure direct staff are using them correctly.
- Produces, reviews, and modifies behavioral plans (PBSP, Functional Assessment, and IISP) at least semi-annually to support SAILS clients to achieve their goals.
- Maintains and promotes SAILS Behavioral and Organizational Philosophy, and policies and procedures.
- Participates in client psychoactive medication review appointments.
- Creates and implements visual aids as needed for clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age. Some college education and or in the field experience. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in social work, childcare, and/or support staff industry providing direct services to the elderly and or children/adults with developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing behavioral tech support to adults or children with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Behavioral Disorders, or Mental Health
- Must have fingerprint and criminal clearance prior to starting.
