Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Account & Wires Service manager to join our team. This position will direct, coordinate, and organize all Account and Wire Service department staff and activities.

Required Skills

• Provide excellent service to all Members, internal team members and service providers.
• Meet established departmental and Credit Union goals and objectives.
• Recruit, select, train, motivate, mentor, evaluate, and review work of all direct reports.
• Research and resolve Member complaints and troubleshoot a wide variety of Member account discrepancies.
• Research and identify corrections to detect and prevent fraud.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of subpoena and warrants.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of Dormancy and Escheatment.
• Identify, develop, recommend, analyze, and implement operational enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Ensure completion of CP2100 process and 1099INT process.
• Manage wire and foreign collection process, including risk management, enhancement of services provided and Member experience improvements.
• Responsible for accurate processing and approving all Domestic and International wires through various channels.
• Provide problem resolution and direction to other departments and branches regarding Member inquires, concerns and issues.
• Utilize research tools to holistically review wires for red flags, detect fraud and prevent losses to the Credit Union.
• Ensure the oversight of auditing wires and general ledgers.
• Answer staff questions and assist with Member inquiries as needed.
• Maintain and distribute updates to the department regarding operational procedures.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all mail deposits, daily vault balancing, and confirm daily reports are reviewed, processed, and completed.
• Manage account file maintenance to include check holds, address change requests and account corrections.
• Monitor RepGen email and department email to verify timely completion of requests.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of Levies, subpoenas, closed accounts, VOD's, and corrections.
• Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance is met within Wires Services.
• Ensure quality control of the wire process, approve transactions, and monitor for wire fraud.
• Ensure oversight of Foreign Exchange rates and requirements.

Required Experience

A combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or closely related field, plus a minimum of eight (8)years of experience in financial services or operations, including two years supervisory experience.
