- Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview:
As a Program Specialist, you are responsible for coordinating and overseeing specific programs within our organization, this role can vary depending on the program you are supporting. You will play a critical role in maintaining and updating client documents and records that are vital to their participation in our programs, handling data entry tasks, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information all while keeping in compliance with the program requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, teamwork, and collaboration. A specialist is an expert in their field with in-depth knowledge about their program and services provided. The Program Specialist also serves as a point of contact for program participants and staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Creating, organizing and maintaining confidential documents that are both physical and electronic, confirming proper documentation and record-keeping procedures are followed. Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Perform data entry and verify the accuracy of information entered into our database.
- Generating reports and analysis based on the data collected to assist in client tracking, program evaluation, and utilization reporting
- Compliance: Ensuring that record-keeping practices adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) for privacy and confidentiality or any other program specific requirements along with
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in record-keeping practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and service delivery.
- Supporting in regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors in records and take appropriate corrective actions, both internal and externally
- Assist in developing and implementing record-keeping policies and procedures that meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience with Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services and medical billing software.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
- Must pass a clear background check with DOJ, CACI, FBI, CCL.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.

- Comprehensive onboarding including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
