Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) is seeking a Front Desk team member to join our mission-driven healthcare team. This role is often the first point of contact for our patients and community members, and plays an important role in ensuring every patient experience is welcoming, organized, and supportive.

What You’ll Do
Patient Services Team Members support the daily operations of our clinics and help patients navigate their care with compassion and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing clinic calendars
- Registering patients and verifying demographic and insurance information
- Answering phones and directing calls appropriately
- Checking patients in and out for appointments
- Collecting co-pays and processing payments
- Assisting patients with forms, referrals, and basic care navigation
- Coordinating with providers, medical assistants, and care teams to support clinic workflow
- Maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic health record system
- Supporting patient communication and follow-up scheduling

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School education.
- Previous experience in medical reception, patient services, or front office support preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff
- Comfort working with computers and electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate service to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Salary Description
$21.00/ hr - $25.00/hr
