Redwing Pond House Preschool provides a nurturing and developmentally appropriate early learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, daily outdoor exploration, and growth across social, cognitive, and emotional development. We believe young children learn best through play, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences in nature.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Early Childhood Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for young children, implementing engaging educational programs, and fostering growth in social, cognitive, and emotional development.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Guiding children in daily activities that support growth and independence
- Ensuring children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborating with other staff and families to support each child’s development
- Encouraging and participating in outdoor play, nature-based learning, and hands-on exploration in all seasons)

- Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or teaching
- Experience with or enthusiasm for nature-based or outdoor education is a plus
