Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed, and visually compelling technical drawings and 3D models that bring concepts to life. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software will drive the development of architectural, mechanical, and system designs, ensuring accuracy and clarity throughout every project phase. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD to support architectural, interior, or mechanical projects.
- Create and modify 3D models with tools like SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to visualize concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate ideas into accurate technical drawings and system designs.
- Prepare construction documents, system schematics, and drafting packages that meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize Bluebeam for markup review and document management to ensure seamless communication across project teams.
- Assist in developing graphic designs and visualizations for presentations or client proposals.
- Support the integration of CAD models into broader design workflows involving Revit or MicroStation for building information modeling (BIM).
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is essential.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max for advanced modeling tasks.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and collaboration is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction processes, system design principles, and drafting standards across various disciplines.
- Ability to produce accurate schematics, technical drawings, and detailed plans efficiently.
- Experience in interior design or mechanical design is a plus.
