Payroll/Human Resources
Staff Relationships: This person is directly responsible to the Director of Finance
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience, 2 years payroll experience and 2 years HR experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements relating to payroll issues and reports
- Knowledge of payroll accounting and auditing principles
- Effective public relations and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency skills in keyboarding and file maintenance
- Ability to adhere to all deadlines
- Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner
- Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases and do word processing
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
- High levels of organization, customer service, detailed documentation procedurces, communication, accountability and initiative required
Terms of Employment:
- Salary based on experience and in accordance with RISD Salary Schedule ($46,428-$66,428)
- 226 days (12 months)
