✨ Tax Supervisor
What You’ll Do
- Develop specialized knowledge in at least one area of individual or business taxation
- Review and prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065)
- Use research tools to support tax planning and return preparation
- Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend solutions
- Maintain work papers and client records; assist with client communication as needed
- Supervise and mentor tax accountants to support skill development
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- A minimum of three years work experience in public accounting
- Experience with the supervision and mentoring of other accountants
- Specialized knowledge in at least one area of estate, gift or trust taxation
- Knowledge of payroll, property, and excise tax issues impacting clients
- Familiar with bookkeeping systems (Peachtree, QuickBooks)
- Proficient in ProSystem fx and AuditVision/linking techniques
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide confidential administrative support with tact and diplomacy
Compensation
- Salary range: $83,000 - $95,000
- Final offer based on location, experience, skills, licensure, and business need
