About RedTag

RedTag is a full-service advertising agency for those who thrive in motion. We help ambitious brands grow through bold strategy, sharp creative, and data-driven execution.

Our team moves fast, thinks big, and works with purpose. We combine creativity, performance, and precision to build campaigns that actually move the needle. At RedTag, we believe in discovery, integrity, and purpose. We’re building something special. An elite, growth-minded team that leaves ordinary behind.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an AdOps Director who’s both a leader and a doer, someone who can set the vision while staying close to the work. You’ll lead a team of ad strategists and media buyers, building systems for performance, mentoring talent, and ensuring every campaign meets the highest standard.

This role is ideal for a player-coach: someone who knows how to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution. You’ll help shape RedTag’s paid media approach, guide innovation in how we plan and optimize campaigns, and roll up your sleeves when needed to troubleshoot, train, or jump into the details. Occasional off-hours availability may be required during campaign launches or urgent client needs. We move fast when it matters.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Develop and oversee integrated paid media strategies across search, social, programmatic, video, Amazon, display, and traditional channels.
  • Identify emerging trends and tools to keep RedTag’s media approach sharp, efficient, and future-ready.
  • Translate data into insights and action plans that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Define KPIs, performance goals, and optimization frameworks for all paid media initiatives.

  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of media buyers and ad strategists, driving excellence through collaboration, accountability, and learning.
    • Get in the weeds when needed: review campaign builds, troubleshoot delivery issues, and provide hands-on coaching.
    • Foster a culture of curiosity and growth where experimentation is encouraged, and learning is constant.
    • Build clear training pathways to strengthen team expertise in performance strategy and execution.

  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with clients to understand business goals and translate them into clear, data-backed media strategies.
    • Present performance insights, strategic recommendations, and optimization plans to executive stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Creative, BrandOps, and Account teams to align media strategies with creative vision and client objectives.

  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee campaign budgets, pacing, and forecasting with precision.
    • Ensure seamless execution, optimization, and reporting across all platforms.
    • Maintain relationships with media vendors, technology partners, and analytics providers.
    • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and campaign performance.

  • QualificationsEducation & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
    • 10 years of experience in digital advertising or paid media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven success managing multimillion-dollar campaigns and guiding high-performing teams.

  • Skills & Competencies
    • Mastery of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, DSPs, and programmatic platforms.
    • Experience blending digital and traditional media into cohesive strategies.
    • Strong command of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Agency Analytics, etc.).
    • Familiarity with audience segmentation, conversion optimization, and performance tracking.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills: you can juggle multiple moving parts without losing focus.

  • Personal Attributes
    • Hands-on leader. You don’t just manage: you build, teach, and refine.
    • Resilient under pressure. You keep calm when others are scrambling.
    • Driven by results. You care less about buzzwords and more about impact.
    • Curious and adaptable. You stay ahead of the curve, always learning and evolving.
    • Collaborative but accountable. You set high expectations, for yourself and your team.
    • Action-oriented. You lead with initiative, not just intention.

  • Why RedTag

RedTag is for people who don’t just want a job. They want to build something. You’ll join a driven, collaborative team that values growth, precision, and purpose. We move fast, push boundaries, and expect the same from our leaders.

If you’re the kind of person who’s energized by high stakes, high standards, and high performance, this is where you belong.

    Equal Opportunity Employer

RedTag values diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
