- Experience designing data operating models and enterprise data strategies with hands-on experience working on cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake (Snowflake is basically a must have)
- Professional experience leading a major data or digital transformation end-to-end
- Strong data engineering fundamentals – deep understanding of how data is structured, organized, modeled, and managed
- AI and machine learning knowledge – ability to identify use cases, guide implementation, and embed Machine Learning capabilities into business processes
- Strong program and project management skills
Job Description: The Data Strategy Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization''s digital transformation goals. This role requires strong project management skills to oversee data-related initiatives and the ability to design effective data operating models that enhance data governance, quality, and accessibility. The ideal candidate will be a good problem-solver with a keen ability to diagnose functional?needs, deal with ambiguity,?identify?where things currently stand and where they want to be, develop a blueprint / roadmap, and execute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy Development:
- Define and articulate the organization''s data vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify key data initiatives that support digital transformation efforts and drive business value.
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of data projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to manage multiple data initiatives simultaneously.
- Data Operating Model Design:
- Design and implement a robust data operating model that encompasses data governance, architecture, and management practices.
- Establish processes for data collection, storage, processing, and analysis to ensure data integrity and security.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Communicate data strategy and initiatives effectively to various audiences, including executive leadership.
- Performance Measurement:
- Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of data initiatives and the overall data strategy.
