Title: PCA: Personal Care Assistant (Caregiver)

Status: Full Time, Part Time, Weekends, or Casual/Per Diem Float

Shift: Days/Shifts Vary, Every Other Weekend - NO overnights!

Our Home Care Caregivers service residents on our Greensburg, Murrysville, and North Huntingdon Campuses. Single campus positions available!

Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a PCA, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing personalized care and support.

Direct Care Worker (DCW) and Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Available! Get paid while you learn! Earn $150 for the DCW track and $500 for the HHA track. Complete both tracks and earn $650! This money goes directly to you. Candidates must first complete forty (40) hours of work to be eligible, and training must be completed on-site at the Greensburg facility within 30 days of hire.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver (PCA), you will provide essential support to our clients, including:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping clients with walking, transferring, and positioning, utilizing transfer devices as needed.
• Meal Preparation: Planning, shopping for, preparing, and assisting with nutritious meals.
• Medication Reminders: Assisting clients with self-administration of medications and prompting them to respond to electronic medication reminders.
• Homemaking Services: Providing light housekeeping, laundry, and errand running.
• Documentation: Observing, reporting, and documenting client status and the care provided.
  
  

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Reliable, independent transportation.
