What You Will do:
- Answers patient call bells, deliver messages, serve meals, make beds and help patients eat, dress and bathe.
- Provides skin care to patients; take temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure; and help patients get in and out of bed and walk.
- Observes residents’ physical, mental and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing or medical staff.
- Maintains awareness of comfort, dignity and safety needs of residents.
- Make beds, bathes, and feeds patients.
- Participates in department or unit quality improvement activities.
- Maintains compliance to all personnel policies, established community policies ad procedures, Federal and State regulations and standards, including, but not limited to
- Complies with HIPPA privacy and confidentiality laws.
Why You Are qualified:
- Must complete DETA series upon hire.
- Experience in Alzheimer’s / Dementia setting preferred.
- Must be CPR certified or willing to be trained and certified.
Please note that this position may require evening, weekend, or overnight shifts based on the needs of our clients.
