Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience that demonstrates hospitality excellence
