What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Mechanic position at Reds Transmission?
We’re looking for a well-trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work and possesses their own tools. We need a professional with a flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when needed.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet customers when they arrive and take a detailed history of vehicle performance or mechanical failure
- Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate
- File appropriate documentation on each repair
Necessary Skills include but are not limited to:
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- 3 years of automotive repair experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
- MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS
