Duties
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling closet components according to project specifications and blueprints
- Support the installation of closet systems, cabinets, doors, shelving, and hardware using hand tools and power tools
- Help with framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and finishing work to ensure a polished final product
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure construction environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction tools such as hand tools, power tools, levels, drills, saws, and measuring devices
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to read schematics or blueprints is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills in various aspects of construction including flooring installation, tile laying, fixture installation, and water damage restoration
