Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Lead and supervise staff members, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability through dynamic pricing and promotional activities
- Coordinate with human resources for staffing needs, scheduling, and compliance with employment policies
- Oversee budgeting processes, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial targets
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, hotel policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management
- Foster a positive guest experience by maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest services at all times
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff members
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and hotel operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage human resources effectively
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and implementing cost-control measures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems
- Deep understanding of hotel experience standards in resort or similar hospitality settings
- Ability to handle guest relations diplomatically while maintaining professionalism under pressure
